Attiv-azione
Attiv-azione is a project born in collaboration with the educational department of Pio Monte della Misericordia designed for the month celebrating the “Giornata del Contemporaneo”.
The activity is a reflective action designed to enhance the contemporary art collections of the Pio Monte museum complex.
Through a path of conscious and active enjoyment of the contemporary works of the museum, the path guides participants towards understanding the deeper meaning of the word "mercy," thus narrating the mission that Pio Monte della Misericordia has been carrying out for more than 400 years.
The works of the contemporary collection, often misunderstood and ignored, carry an enormous and unexplored potential: they attract and stimulate the younger generation and "challenge" established concepts in adults. Contemporary art, enhanced through educational interventions like Attiv-azione, can become a facilitator and mediator of complex and fundamental messages.
