The project involved an analysis of the museographic and museological situation of the "Nicoletta Fiore" Laboratory Museum located in the school for the design of a usage and enhancement path with the primary aim of the idea of Life Long Learning.
Catalogo Espanso is the product of resemanticization of part of the museum's collection, the result of the work of a group of young students from the school who, with the help of the game Le Musée Exquis, have re-evaluated the museum by highlighting new narratives and possible new exhibition paths.
Within Catalogo Espanso, it is possible to enjoy counter-narratives of various kinds that come together in the idea of a contrast between science and pseudoscience embedded within the museum. From an educational point of view, the idea of counter-narration (i.e., the fictions created by students) gives rise to what we might call the “shock effect,” that is, the possibility through the emotional process of a faster and more permanent learning of the observed object.
